BAKED CUSTARD
Ingredients:
- 3 Cups of milk if dairy, or milk alternative if Parve/Pareve,
- 4 Eggs,
- 1/3 Cup Splenda,
- Pinch of salt,
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract,
- Cinnamon and/or nutmeg as garnish,
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Heat milk in small pot until hot, and before the liquid boils.
- Beat the eggs in a bowl. Gradually add Splenda and salt. Gradually add the milk, and mix in the vanilla.
- Pour mixture into a baking pan. Cook for an hour and until the solid mixture passes the toothpick test.
- Chill before serving in a refrigerator.
