TONIC FOR STRESS RELIEF



Ingredients:

  • 3 1/4 cups gin
  • 3 chamomile + lemongrass+ speramint tea bags
  • 3/4 cups peach nectar
  • 1/4 cup splenda


Directions:

  1. Pour the water into a saucepan abd bring to a boil. Let cool for 1 to 2 minutes.  Add tea bags, in any combination and order preferred, and steep for 10 minutes. Remove and discard teabags.
  2. Pour tea into a pitcher, add juice nectar and sweetener, abd stir.  Let cool. Pour into a glass of ice or feel free to use the ice recipe listed below.

Tonic for Sleep Ice Recipe:

Option A:

1/2 cup fresh peach nectar,

2 tablespoons Gin,

1 cup Peach Wine and/or Rose Wine,

sliced peach segments for ice cube decoration,

Option B:

2 cup peach sparkling peach and/or rose sparkling wine or champagne.

Sliced peach segments for ice cube decoration.

* Makes enough ice for at least a standard 16 well tray, with 1 oz per tray*

Directions:

1. In cubed ice tray(s), insert a sliced peach segment into each well. 

2. Combine remaining ice cube ingredients for option A or option B cubes, into a pitcher, and pour into the trays or molds.

3. Freeze tray(s) for 4 hours or until solidified, and unmold before serving with drink cocktail.

4. In a large pitcher, while the ice cubes freeze, combine all of the Tonic for Sleep ingredients, without the sparkling water.

5. Chill tonic for 30 minutes to 4 hours; chilling for 4 hours to allow the beverage to absorb the fruit.

6. Serve chilled over custom made tonic  ice cubes, and top with a splash of sparkling peach wine if desired
