OATMEAL
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats,
- 1 cup water,
- 1 cup milk, or milk substitute if pareve,
- Pinch of salt,
- List of healthy toppings: blueberries, maple syrup, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, raspberries, banana slices, peanut butter, walnuts, sunflower seeds, and coconut flakes.
Directions:
- In a saucepan, combine ingredients, and bring water to a boil. Be sure to gradually stir in oats.
- Then reduce heat to low heat.
- Stir occasionally for approximately 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Serve oatmeal as it is, or with favorite toppings/add-ins.
Makes 2 servings.
