OATMEAL

 



Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats,
  • 1 cup water,
  • 1 cup milk, or milk substitute if pareve,
  • Pinch of salt,
  • List of healthy toppings: blueberries, maple syrup, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, raspberries, banana slices, peanut butter, walnuts, sunflower seeds, and coconut flakes.


Directions:

  1. In a saucepan, combine ingredients, and bring water to a boil.  Be sure to gradually stir in oats.
  2. Then reduce heat to low heat.
  3. Stir occasionally for approximately 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool.
  5. Serve oatmeal as it is, or with favorite toppings/add-ins.

Makes 2 servings.
