APPLESAUCE
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds of apples, 4 to 5 apples, a soft variety, peeled, cored, chopped,
- 3/4 cup water,
- 1/4 cup splenda,
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice (optional),
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional),
Directions:
- Peel, core, and chop the apples into small chunks.
- In a saucepan, heat the water over medium heat, and add the chopped apples with splenda. Bring mixture to a boil over high heat, and then reduce to a simmer over low heat. Be sure to heat the apples until the fruit is soft.
- Puree using a blender and/or food processor.
- Serve
