APPLESAUCE



Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds of apples, 4 to 5 apples, a soft variety, peeled, cored, chopped, 
  • 3/4 cup water,
  • 1/4 cup splenda,
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice (optional),
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional),

Directions:

  1. Peel, core, and chop the apples into small chunks.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the water over medium heat, and add the chopped apples with splenda.  Bring mixture to a boil over high heat, and then reduce to a simmer over low heat. Be sure to heat the apples until the fruit is soft.
  3. Puree using a blender and/or food processor.
  4. Serve
