ARME RITTER
Ingredients:
- 1 Egg if Dairy or Pareve, Egg Substitute if Vegan,
- 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon,
- 1/4 Cup Milk if dairy, or dairy free substitute if Pareve or Vegan,
- 4 Slices Soda Bread (Irish Soda Bread), as Kosher for Use,
- 1 Teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract,
- Whipped Cream & Berries as Garnish (Optional),
Directions:
- Use a wire whisk to beat egg, vanilla, and ground cinnamon in a small or medium bowl.
- Dip bread into beaten egg mixture, and turn to evenly coat both sides.
- On a nonstick skillet or lightly oiled griddle, cook soda bread on medium heat, until golden brown or browned
- Serve with low sugar syrup; including sugar free maple syrup or simple syrup.
- Garnish with berries and/or low sugar whipped cream (optional).
